    Shaggy30000, there’s no such thing as top (follow) and bottom (draw) English, only left & right. There is high, middle, and low English, but it’s technically only English if there’s a side spin (left or right).

    Well, he says that those are the effects of English, but he really only explained left and right English. In his example shot, if he wanted also to hit a different part of the rail, instead of just coming off of the rail at a different angle, then top and bottom English would also come into play.
