Very Very carefully. You can use a flat head nozzle on your vacuum NO BEATER BRUSH and vacuum the table carefully in one direction from head to toe. not side to side. Do not push down hard just let it glide across. NEVER get the table wet, so no do not spit on it. You can also get a sticky lint roller, and you will be amazed at how much chalk it picks up. If the cloth is really really bad. Get a white wash cloth get it wet, but ring it out so that its just damp, and glide it across the table from end to end. Always work in the same direction. With the white wash cloth, you can see if its picking up any chalk. DO NOT SOAK THE TABLE. This is just a slightly damp cloth gliding across the felt. The chalk in the cloth actually helps with English when playing, so a little bit of chalk will not hurt anything. If the table is really stained with chalk, 1 you might being using the wrong color chalk for the felt of the table, or 2, it maybe time to recover the table.
