Question by Sir: Would having a 6ft snooker table at home benefit me?
Would it help seeing as you will get used to position, screw, spin, holding for balls etc?

That would depend on what sized table you normally play on, if for instance you play pool on a similar sized table it would help you quite a bit, but if you play traditional snooker on a 12ft table then it would be far less useful.
The whole point of practice is the repetition of shots and remembering the results, if the tables you normally play on are very different then the benefits would be much smaller.
However the more practice you can get in the better so in my opinion you should go for it.

Yes, trust me, it would help a lot. I used to own a 6 foot by 3 foot table and once you start playing on it regularly you will gradually get better. Obviously when I first started playing I wasn’t that great, but as I started playing more often I started to get better. It helps you to get used to positional play, cue ball control, better potting, swerve, etc. And after time each aspect of your game starts to improve. So having a 6 foot snooker table certainly helps. Try to play with 10 red balls instead of the normal 15 to avoid scrappy frames.
