I think the best thing you can do in snooker is to always make the easy shots. If you don’t miss the easy ones, the hard ones will show up and go 50/50 on them and you win.

Keep a good angle after a pot to get to your next ball.
Always try and keep a few shots in front and think of your next shot.
If in doubt about playing a shot, play a safety.

well all of those are important, but you must always follow through with the cue, no matter what, if you don’t follow through you wont hit the cue ball straight and it will drift off, also always make sure you put your head down near the cue so that you can aim properly, hope i helped.
