Question by Tyler: Where can I find snooker tables?
I know it’s not common in the United States to find snooker tables, but I really want to try it out. I live in western North Carolina, I have tried everything I can think of to find places or people with snooker tables. Thanks very much.

look through the phone book or google snooker clubs in your area

Hi there!
I don’t think snooker is that popular in the US but I have managed to find this site here:

That has a list of 4 places in NC with snooker tables. Try contacting the clubs before you visit though as I cannot guarantee they have tables there.

But if you want to try one out first, why not buy a small Portable one. I saw a mini plastic one for sale at £15.99 at Hamleys, and one for £18.99 at Toys R Us.

I live near Charlotte and can only name a few places in the whole state that have snooker tables. With that being said, I know of a few not listed in the previous poster’s answer link, probably because these locations cater to a very specific Asian clientele.
It might be worth asking around at your local pool room to see if any aquiantances happen to have a table, or perhaps know where one may be that might only be known to the few that play.
