Question by Samuel: Can anybody tell me a cheep snooker club in or near brighton?
I play snooker iregulary since the only place i know is rileys which charges £8 an hour which is ridiculous

Both Riley’s and the Castle snooker clubs charges are around the same price which is the going rate in most clubs.

If you want to play for less but somewhere that only has one or two tables I suggest you contact The Brighton, Hove & District Billiards & Snooker League. they will give you a list of smaller clubs in the area which participate in the local district league.

These will not be snooker clubs as such but more likely to be Working mens Clubs, Labour or Conservative clubs etc. you might have to wait your turn but it will be a fraction of the cost, especially if you find the best times to play.

Don’t worry if you’re a beginner, all standards are welcome in these clubs and it’s a good way to improve your game.
