Question by Ivanhoe Fats: Are there any web sites which broadcast snooker or pool – such as world championships?
I’m in Australia and there is no pool or snooker on any of the free to air or pay stations – I’ve been here 7 years and sorely miss the Embassy (as was) World Snooker !

I’m not so sure about snooker as I’ve never looked. The Mosconi Cup held recently was broadcast over their site, I believe. The International Pool Tour also has matches on their site. They have a free match coming up: Johnny Archer vs Earl Strickland. I can’t do the time conversion for you, but it’s 8pm Eastern time in the USA on Wed. Hurry up and register.

Yeah this has been asked before, but all the previous answers pointed to snooker games, iwant a good ebook if poss.

Edit: Sorry, I didn’t even check out the links. I just figured they were good. I think there was one or two ebooks in there, but they might also be unavailable any more.

Question by john: Is there a difference between English Billiards and Snooker?
I use the terms synonymously but someone told me that was incorrect and that they are different.

The two are very different games. English Billiards is played with 3 balls, snooker is played with 22 (including the cue ball).
